LOCATION: New Harborgate is a private lake front community on High Rock Lake in Davidson County, North Carolina. It is located off Highway # 8, 14.5 miles south of I-85 Exit # 91.

DESCRIPTION: New Harborgate consists of 151 acres, containing approximately 93 existing, and 94 proposed, building sites. There are currently thirty-one homes built. The sub-division sits at the foot of High Rock Mountain and has 2 miles of shoreline.

RESTRICTIONS: Only single family residential homes with a minimum of 1600 sq. ft. and a two car attached garage are permitted. You may refer to the Declaration of Rights, Restrictions, and Conditions (Harborgate Restrictive Covenants) to see other restrictions that apply.

HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION: The Harborgate Property Owners Association was formed to collect assessments for the maintenance of the community common areas and amenities. The annual dues for 2008 are $589.00. The Harborgate Articles of Incorporation and By-laws provide additional information regarding the role of the Association and the duties, rights, and responsibilities of its Members, Directors, and Officers.

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL: All homes to be built are subject to established Architectural Guidelines. Detailed house and building site plans must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee for their review and approval before construction can begin. Strict adherence to guidelines is enforced in order to protect the attractiveness and value of the Community.

SEMI-PRIVATE PIERS: Private Piers may be constructed on every 200' of shoreline at High Rock Lake where permitted by Alcoa. Most waterfront lots in New Harborgate have approximately 100' of water frontage. Therefore, most piers constructed on Harborgate lots are semi-private - they are shared by two adjoining property owners.

SHOPPING: There are five Regional Malls within 45 miles: Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, Asheboro, and Concord. The three closest shopping centers are:
Lexington - Hwy. 8 & 1-85 (Belks, Dollar Tree, Goody's); Hwy 8 & Lowes Blvd. (Wal-Mart, Lowes)
Thomasville - Hwy. 109 & 1-85 (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Radio Shack); and,
Denton - Features Dollar General, Lowes Foods, CVS Pharmacy, & Family Dollar.
